Friday Find: Hamilton Algorithm

Have you caught Hamilfever? Even if you haven't, this musical algorithm breaking down the rhymes of this smash hit Broadway musical is impressive, fun, and fascinating.

And also, if you haven't caught the bug, I highly recommend checking out the soundtrack. I certainly don't have Hamilflu as much as some, but I hear something new every time I listen to it. I can't wait to see it when it (inevitably, I am sure) goes on a national tour. [Updated! Hamilton is coming to San Diego! Who wants to come with me?!]

Friday Find: Rachel Ryle

I forget how I stumbled across Rachel Ryle's Instagram account, but I was immediately hooked. She is a gifted artist who posts gorgeous, fun, short animations that have me watching on repeat and scratching my head as I try to figure out how they're done. (Stop motion, that's how.)

Have you seen it!? Instagram has a new logo!! As you can tell from this animation, I'm totally 'digging' it!! It's so fresh, vibrant & fun! True, the original logo will forever have a special place in my heart, but I am loving the new look!

Springtime in New York:

Springtime in Paris (my favorite city!):

I've never been to Paris in the springtime, but in my dreams this is what it's like! The cheerful color of cherry blossoms line the sidewalks. Birds are chirping to the soft accordion music that fills the air. Historic buildings & beautiful architecture are waiting around every corner.

Packing for Jamaica:

This one is for anyone else who is also dreaming of a beach vacation! If you've been following my adventures on Snapchat or Facebook (@rachelryle) then you know that I've been a busy bee! I finally have a break in my schedule so I've painted my toes & packed my bags to sneak away!!

Coffee:

My favorite drink has two names depending on the coffeeshop that you order it from. Whether you call it a Gibraltar or a Cortado, let's just drink & enjoy some coffee! Cheers coffee lovers, this one's for you! PS I have mad respect for you baristas out there.
